Spectator Advice

VENUE OPENING TIMES
The Golf Club KL City Centre is open from 12 noon till 12 midnight every day of the Tournament.

HOURS OF PLAY

  • Players practising throughout the day. Information will be available at www.kliigo.com and will be displayed on Practice Starting Times boards.
  • First Tee Time: 12noon, Last Tee Time: 11pm
  • FINALS:
  • First Tee Time: 10am (approx). Last Tee Time: 7pm

GRANDSTANDS
Approximately 150 seats are located inside the venue and other than VVIP seating, all other seating will be on a first come first served basis.
Please note that smoking is not permitted on grandstands or anywhere in the venue.

SCOREBOARDS
A comprehensive service throughout the venue will keep spectators fully informed. Live updates will be made available online at  www.kliigo.com

LARGE SCREEN
Keep up-to date with the action on the large screen located in the public lounge and bar area.

ACCESS TO THE VENUE
Spectators can move freely around the venue but please stay outside the ropes that prevent spectators from being accidentally hit by clubs.

FACILITIES FOR THE DISABLED
Viewing areas have been set aside at a number of simulators for those in wheelchairs. For further information on viewing areas, car parking and all other matters, please go to www.kliigo.com or contact The Golf Club KL City Centre on 1-700-81-700-1.

PETS
No pets are allowed at the venue and we respectfully suggest that you do not leave your pet in the car.

OFFICIAL PROGRAMMES
Programmes may be purchased from reception at the host venue.
In addition, they will be available by post from Wednesday 27th April 2011. Ring TollFree 1-700-81-700-1 with your credit or debit card details. Alternatively, you can order on the internet from www.kliigo.com

INFORMATION CENTRE
The KLiiGO Information Centre, situated at The Golf Club KL City Centre, can offer assistance with travel and general enquiries, including information about KLiiGO 2012

SAFETY
Please be reminded that under certain conditions the floor may become slippery and appropriate footwear should be worn at all times within the venue.

MEDICAL AND FIRST AID
Full medical and first aid facilities will be available at the reception of the venue as well as at the Novotel Hotel above the venue.

CATERING FACILITIES
There are licensed catering points at the venue during the tournament and visitors are encouraged to order F&B directly from them.

CRECHE FACILITY
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide this facility for children of the general public, given the size of the expected crowd and the limited space within the host venue.

BANKING SERVICE
For your banking needs the Organizer recommends CIMB Bank located 5 minutes walk away at Wisma Genting.
CIMB provides a comprehensive banking service, including several ATMs if you’d rather bank privately.

THE CARLSBERG MALAYSIA GOLF FOUNDATION
The Carlsberg Malaysia Golf Foundation, a charity dedicated to promoting junior golf, will be showcasing its Grass Roots programmes (Building Blocks of Golf) in the Carlsberg Golf Simulator.

LEFT LUGGAGE FACILITIES
There will be several complimentary left luggage facilities located at the host venue operated on a first come, first served basis. Please note that security bag searches may be in operation.

OFFICIAL MERCHANDISE
The Golf Club KL City Centre will provide a comprehensive range including menswear, ladieswear, headwear, golf accessories and even kidswear. All products are officially approved and will carry The KLiiGO 2011 logo.

AUTOGRAPHS
To help create a more orderly environment for those seeking autographs and to assist players, one specific area has been designated for signing autographs. Spectators should not ask players for autographs outside of this area.

MOBILE PHONES
Your mobile phone might distract players, so please try not to use your phone while players are hitting or about to hit their shots.

Anybody breaching this rule may have their mobile phones confiscated and kept for them at reception until the end of the tournament.
